Well, let\u2019s look into it further. According to experts, sleeping on your side can reduce snoring, reduce acid reflux, help with <a href=\"http:\/\/docliens.com\/articles\/how-to-stretch-your-back-to-keep-an-ideal-alignment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">back pain<\/a>, and help reduce the pain caused by pregnancy or old age. Just hearing that, it\u2019s no wonder why <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sleepfoundation.org\/sleeping-positions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">60% of people sleep primarily on their side<\/a> at night. It\u2019s also important to prioritize sleeping on your left side, as sleeping on your right may increase pressure on your internal organs. By adding a pillow between your knees, you can help out your alignment even more and prevent pain.<\/p>\n\n<p>The only drawback to sleeping on your side is that it could create <a href=\"http:\/\/docliens.com\/articles\/how-to-stretch-in-the-morning-to-get-your-body-ready-for-the-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shoulder pain<\/a> and\/or facial wrinkles.<\/p>\n\n<p>What about lying on your back? Lying on your back, according to experts, can help prevent neck pain and the misalignment that causes it. By sleeping on your back, you\u2019re helping to allow gravity to evenly align your spine while you\u2019re sleeping.<\/p>\n\n<p>The worst sleeping position, according to experts, is sleeping on your stomach. Why? Well, it seems that sleeping on your stomach can put strain on your joints, which causes pain. The more pain you\u2019re feeling as you sleep, the more you will wake up, and the more restless your sleep becomes. For a good night sleep, it\u2019s best to avoid this position.<\/p>\n\n<p>So, our chiropractors have spoken!
