In fact, in our day to day we regularly associate chiropractic adjustments as being something to do <a href=\"http:\/\/docliens.com\/articles\/when-to-seek-specialty-care-after-a-car-accident-injury\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">after an accident<\/a>. But why? Well, getting a chiropractic adjustment has many benefits including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Boosting Immune System Health<\/li><li>Increasing Joint Mobility<\/li><li>Increasing Performance in Overall Activities<\/li><li>Decreasing Pain<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Those benefits alone can help someone who is feeling out of whack after an injury or traumatic event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We sat in with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.doctorsonliens.com\/locations\/435-Downtown-Los-Angeles-Downtown-Live-Chiropractic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Levon N. of Downtown Live Chiropractic<\/a> who showed us some of the routine things he does in a chiropractic adjustment that help people in their day-to-day lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, he demonstrated on our rep Damian and showed us that Damian had one leg that was shorter than the other. He explained that a shorter leg isn\u2019t really an issue in the short term, but when we discuss long term effects, it can slowly affect the knee and hip and <a href=\"http:\/\/docliens.com\/articles\/pain-management-specialist-in-beverly-hills-joins-doctors-on-liens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cause pain<\/a> over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a quick adjustment, he was able to get the legs back to the same height.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As far as neck issues, he claimed that the connection of the head and neck is an important area to focus on, as well. Neck issues can lead to vertigo, headaches, blurry vision, and even affect down into the arms, making people think they may have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/carpal-tunnel-syndrome\/symptoms-causes\/syc-20355603\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carpal tunnel syndrome<\/a>. A neck adjustment can quickly release these tensions and fix the above issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, you can tell just by discussing the leg and neck issues alone on someone without trauma that regular adjustments are important to keep your alignment healthy and in check. When you add in the factor of trauma, the body is likely much more out of alignment than a body that hasn\u2019t gone through such an issue.
