That being said, back injuries are clearly something that should be watched out for and prevented if at all possible. However, that also means that these <a href=\"http:\/\/docliens.com\/articles\/how-strengthening-your-core-muscles-can-protect-you-from-future-injuries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">muscles can be strengthened<\/a>. A strong core is the most important way, according to Dr. Su, to help prevent back injuries. The stronger your core, the more resilient your muscles are, making them harder to injure.<\/p>\n\n<p>Dr. Su suggested planking as a way to strengthen your core muscles and, in turn, prevent back injuries.
