Today, I thought it would be a great idea to discuss getting the most out of your treatments. Regardless of the treatment you get, whether it\u2019s a chiropractic alignment, a pain management treatment, an orthopedic surgery, or a PRP treatment, there are universal things you can do after each and every procedure to help you get the most out of your treatment. However, generally speaking, according to Dr. Fishman, it almost always helps to stretch your body. Now, this doesn\u2019t mean pushing a stretch, rather doing base, light stretches. For instance, if you\u2019ve had a spine injection done or are trying to relieve lower-back pain, you should do light stretches and get your body moving. This is why taking a leisurely walk is a great idea. In cases where you conduct a PRP treatment, walking is highly advised, as movement increases the blood flow throughout your body, which increases oxygen circulation. In turn, according to Dr. Fishman, the increase of oxygen will amplify the results your PRP treatment. This is also why walking is generally good for healing in most cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In some cases, <a href=\"http:\/\/docliens.com\/articles\/the-benefits-of-hyperbaric-oxygen-therapy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">taking anti-inflammatory medication<\/a> can help you feel better and recover faster. In other situations, it can hurt the healing process. For instance, if you get a PRP treatment, you want to make sure you\u2019re not taking anti-inflammatory treatments (such as Motrin, Aleve, or Advil), as they will blunt the biological response you\u2019re trying to get for your PRP treatment. However, Tylenol is fine to take. So, after your treatment, no matter what you are getting done with a doctor who works on a lien, be sure to ask your doctor about taking anti-inflammatory medication or pain medication to get clarity on what would be best to take if you need it for your particular case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s important to remember that there\u2019s much more to our treatment plans that we can help with at home. From drinking more water to conducting light stretches to walking more regularly, there are many ways to help us get more benefits out of our chiropractic appointments, pain management visits, and PRP treatments. While many of these things go hand-in-hand across the board, be sure to talk with your doctor about your specific case to ensure you\u2019re healing appropriately.
