How Doctors Offices are Keeping Patients Safe from the Spread of COVID-19
With a rise in COVID-19 cases appearing in Southern California just after Phase 2 of the reopening order was initiated, there is a very real possibility that we will be put back in quarantine again. This poses the question on everyone’s mind, “Is it really safe to go back out into the world?”
The answer could change on a case-by-case basis. But if you are suffering after an accident, you should be able to visit a doctor’s office without the fear of contracting COVID-19. So, how are doctors stepping up to the plate to protect their patients from the spread of the coronavirus?
A good physician or specialist is trained to ask you the right questions before you step foot into their office. They will ask you if you have a temperature, if you have traveled recently, and if you are showing any signs of COVID-19. If you are healthy and can be approved for an appointment, most offices will be taking your temperature at the door to ensure you do not have a fever. Anyone showing signs of a fever or other health risks should not be permitted into an office and should instead consider Telemedicine or a visit to the hospital (if instructed to do so by your primary doctor).
Face coverings are required for all onsite appointments. All doctors and specialists should comply with the CDC guidelines and wear a mask. And all patients entering the space must wear masks, as well. Masks are provided at most offices, so if you don’t have one, they can provide you with one. Certain offices may require the use of gloves, as well.
Proper Social Distancing
To maintain proper social distancing standards, most offices are requiring patients to be seated in their cars until they can be taken inside to meet directly with their physician or specialist. In offices where this is not the case, seating within the reception area will be spread out so all chairs are within six feet of one another.
Extra Sanitation Measures
All offices should be cleaned frequently throughout the day to ensure your safety and the safety of the office staff. Aside from Lysol wipes, disinfectant sprays, and hand sanitizer, new UV Sterilizing lights are also utilized in certain offices to provide additional safety.
We do not take your health lightly, and a doctor’s office shouldn’t either. If you have been injured in an accident and are seeking treatment, it’s important that all specialists and chiropractors that you see follow the CDC guidelines and provide you with the safest, cleanest experience possible. All of our doctors at Doctors on Liens are well-versed in and following CDC guidelines. Our Doctors on Liens staff members are even spot checking our offices to ensure that they are complying with CDC guidelines to keep you safe. So, you can rest assured that you will be well taken care of by our list of qualified medical professionals.

Doctors on Liens doesn't bombard you with a million doctors. I could use a phone book for that. Instead it weeds out all but the best and I've never been disappointed with the results. I consider them an invaluable resource for my firm.
