When you think of the classic American pioneer, the image of a person driving a covered wagon, with their family and belongings in tow, may come to mind. It’s the classic picture of a trailblazer that set the stage for a massive westward migration across the United States.
In the same trail blazing fashion, I think of Samantha Parker as a true pioneer in personal injury and workers compensation liens. While she doesn’t drive a covered wagon, which can be difficult to park in Downtown LA. she’s been blazing trails in the medical lien world for over 20 years. A recent San Fernando Valley Business Journal article chronicled the work Samantha has undertaken to become the premier matchmaker between attorneys and doctors who work a lien basis.
Samantha Parker has been at the helm of Doctors on Liens throughout the company’s journey. She’s been there from the founding of the company in 1993, to the expansion throughout Southern California after the Howell vs. Hamilton Meats and Provisions, Inc. decision, and now through the Affordable Care Act. She is a pioneering leader in the industry and I am happy to be one of the people in tow.
