Let’s address an elephant in the room- many people are afraid to go to the chiropractor because of the fear that can come with getting an adjustment. Some people are afraid of the cracking and twisting. But what if I told you that there is a way to get the benefits of an adjustment without having to twist your back or your neck? Would that help you with your fear? Perhaps, that’s why the Pro Adjuster Device was created.

We spoke with Dr. David Hoorfar, DC, QME, IME, of Pasadena Chiro Med, our doctor who works on a lien basis in Pasadena, California, about the pro adjuster device:

Dr. Hoorfar likes utilizing this as an alternative to traditional adjustments, as it’s both an easy process as well as a non-force adjustment technique. So, it just presses against the back and adjusts without twisting.

Perhaps, the most exciting part about this is that it can measure the movements of the vertebra of your back to provide an assessment on a graph. The doctor can use this graph to figure out what is out of alignment and go over it all with the patient to confirm what is bothering them or what may be tender.

From there, an adjustment can be done in a non-force way with this same device.

So, if you’ve been injured in an accident or are experiencing pain of any kind and have been afraid to visit the chiropractor due to the adjustments, think it over again! Perhaps, now that you know there is an alternative to a traditional adjustment that negates the need for twisting, you can consider a visit to our chiropractor. If you’re feeling any pain, it’s important to seek proper medical attention so it doesn’t get worse over time. So, again, if you’ve been injured in an accident, reach out to Dr. Hoorfar or any of our doctors who work on a lien basis to seek treatment.
