In today’s Quick Tip blog post and video, Dr. Mark Mangold of East Hills Chiropractic, our doctor who works on a lien basis in Anaheim Hills, CA, introduces us to two very special guys: Bentley and Hunter, the therapy dogs. Yes, you heard right! Dr. Mangold has two therapy dogs that he regularly uses to work with at-risk youth and in child mentor programs. They also do hospital work. When they’re not out helping in their community, Bently and Hunter can be found in the East Hills Chiropractic office offering their services to Dr. Mangold’s patients. Certain studies have shown that spending time with therapy dogs can reduce stress, improve mood, decrease feelings of loneliness, improve self-esteem, reduce blood pressure, and improve the heart health of patients. Especially in situations when you have been injured in an accident and you may be nervous about visiting the chiropractor (as a first visit or two can be a little intimidating), a therapy dog may be just the right thing to ease your anxiety and put you in a better place for your appointment.

So, if your client has been injured in an accident, introduce them to Bentley and Hunter by referring them to Dr. Mark Mangold in Anaheim Hills, California or to any of our doctors who work on a lien basis to get a consultation today.
