Throughout the ups and downs of everyday life, most people accumulate a lot of stress and pressure in their lower backs which can quickly and easily lead to lower back pain. This can also easily get heightened when you’ve been injured in a car accident. Luckily, the doctors on our list are all pros at helping to relieve lower back pain from either injury or from the stressors of daily life.

We spoke with Dr. Adin Dadian PT from Phoenix Physical Therapy and Wellness in Rancho Cucamonga about a simple and effective stretch that, when done daily, can easily help to release lower back pain. It does so by helping to remove pressure from your lumbar spine by stretching it out and strengthening the lower back.

You can follow along and mimic the stretch from Dr. Dadian’s Quick Tip Video Here:

To do this stretch, begin by laying down on your back with your face up.

Gently pull your knees up to your chest and hold them against your core for one minute. By doing this, you are able to gently elongate your lower spine, relieving the pressure from your lumbar spine. While it may seem simple, according to Dr. Dadian, it is very effective, and it serves as a great way to manage your lower back pain from home.

Remember, though, if you experience any pain at all while you’re stretching, be sure to stop immediately and reach out to Dr. Dadian or any of our doctors who work on a lien basis, especially if you have recently been injured in a car accident.

By regularly stretching out our bodies, we can help to build muscle and work out some of the regular pain that comes with the activities we do in our daily lives.
