If you’ve been injured in an accident and you’re experiencing pain, it might benefit you to add lasers into your treatment plan. We spoke with Dr. Adin Dadian DPT from Phoenix Physical Therapy in Rancho Cucamonga and Glendale, California about adding lasers into your treatment plan and what that would look like. Watch Dr. Dadian’s quick tip here below or read on for more.

Dr. Dadian suggests using a laser in your treatment plan if you have been injured in an accident and need help managing pain and inflammation for your injury. He suggests using laser treatment around your epidural or pain management shots as an additional help for managing pain. Why? According to Dr. Dadian, laser therapy has a lot of benefits including accelerated tissue repair, pain relief, reduced inflammation, improved vascular activity, increasing metabolic function, and even speeding up the healing process.

Results vary depending on the laser, but Dr. Dadian explains that the laser at their office penetrates the tissue up to 7cm deep with varying wavelengths. There are 2 wavelengths in the laser he uses that combine together to reach the tissue and help with pain relief.

So, if you’ve been injured in an accident, be sure to reach out to Dr. Dadian in Rancho Cucamonga and Glendale, California or any of our doctors who work on a lien basis to discuss the treatment plan that may be right for you. Be sure to ask if laser therapy could be a good addition to your chiropractic, physical therapy, or pain management care.
