In order to reduce discomfort and pain after an accident, Dr. Martin suggests that you quickly try to reduce the inflammation of any areas experiencing pain. He explains that even ten minutes is all you really need to help reduce most inflammation that may be causing discomfort.
Another important tip to consider if you’ve been injured in an accident is to move around a bit. If you are able to simply walk around at a slow or moderate pace, you can increase the circulation in your body which can help to fight inflammation, as well.
